Hi Russ,No we didn't it, I'm on building one, as well as 1001 other things!! but I bought this one to play with my grandson before they emigrated to australia,I've done quite a bit of work on it though,we re-tubed it 4 yrs ago[a RIGHT job & 1/2!!] re- bushed the valve gear, made rubber strakes & tyres [from conveyor belting], machined & fitted new diff gears, made patterns & cast number plates in alloy & brass nameplate ''albert" after my late father, presently machining a new connecting rod & getting ready for annual steam test, also built 2 riding trailers to carry kids, coal & water,we drive it round the village as I taxed it for the road. all gr8 fun [when the weather's good]
Graham.

Hi John, yes I have a good relationship with my son,I was very close to my Dad as well,we built the 1st foundry together & he had a workshop as well mostly wood though,I named the engine "Albert" after him he would have loved it, I don't think I'll be taking it this year to Harrogate but I'll probably be going as a visitor are you going??
