Not a project of mine but a collection of projects by others.
Some time back I signed up to the
www.homemadetools.net newsletter. Today they sent me an email with a link to their
50 best homemade tools ebook. I figured some of you guys would be interested in this.
I didn't make the list at all.
By the way, that ebook doesn't have the plans in it for the projects. It has a picture of each project and a short description. You have to click on the title of the project and it will take you to the actual project on the web site. The book doesn't say anything about clicking on the project title to get access to the actual project.

I have been repeatedly disappointed with homemadetools.net . Lots of the "tools" aren't really tools but Mickey Mouse workarounds.
The only stuff interesting to me were postings by aametalmaster And what the hey! we have Bob right here in our clutches.
Never made the top 50 either but don't think there was a prize if you did.
Interesting to open the site and find that 5 of my projects, were listed (under my platypus20 name). Today was the first I had ever heard of the site.
Hmmm, I assumed the owner would have gotten permission from the originators of the projects to post them on their web site. It appears that is not the case. Seems a bit unethical to me.

Thats how i found the site i googled my name and found my small ring roller there if not for that i never would have found it. The rest i submitted...Bob
