Paint your machine whatever colour takes your fancy, it is your machine after all and if you come to sell it then the new owner can paint it whatever colour he wants.
Bring on the hippy milling machines !

Lol, I've worked on brightly painted machines. It seemed like a good idea at first, but after a few shifts I was ready to gouge my eyes out. How about grey, pin striped in yellow, a nice lime green, or maybe even plum crazy purple?
Tom
I've seen pictures of a BP that was painted in bright yellow. It actually looked pretty good.
Yellow BP, ouch. OK started the clutch. I need to add the rear set screw and the 10 index holes in the flange and part #1 is done.

Still no pulleys. Dang. OK 19 engagement holes this part is finished.

nice job Bob, this is interesting as I have a 9 inch lathe similar to yours I may do the same too, I notice that you did the reverse modification to your lathe mine if I ask how you installed it?.

The tumbler reverse on mine is a clone from the Steve Bedair site.
Made the drive pin tomorrow I will make the slots and spring load it.

Dave. Pulleys are here but it's too late to do anything with them today. Rework tomorrow.

I don't care what she says, it's tomorrow somewhere.
#1 is fitted.
