That looks great Chuck. I will need to make me one.

Chuck,
How about a video showing the new tool in action.

I've been meaning to try one of those as well. They make a lot of sense for straight turning. I second the video suggestion.

Sorry, no video. I don't have a tripod for my crappy camera, and no one handy to be the camera person.
Some staged snapshots are the best I can do. Later today, maybe. I have to clean my mess up a bit and find some good examples to turn.

Chuck you can use Windows movie maker to take still pics, add music or play by play. I burned out on videos a few years ago one can get carried away with stuff!
Videos are so much easier to make now than they were a few years ago.

Nice tool Chuck, does the locking screw clear when your facing? Mine doesn't, have seen a few designs with wedges that put the screw or nut on the other side out of the way.

Thanks Greg, this is probably the most complicated thing I have milled to date. I really had to stand on my head and hold my mouth just right! LOL, just kidding, but it certainly was a challenge. I've only tried it on small diameter stuff so far, but today I found a piece of unknownium steel that has proof of nasty finish from my normal HSS tooling. It's about 1 1/2"-2" in dia. I will try a cleanup cut on it tomorrow with before and after pic's.
