Wong,

By a sketch, I mean rough sketch like this

Dave,

The sketches I made were worst than those of my younger daughter... Lolz...

I do like to create visuals in my mind; step by step instructions to guide me. I would replay the process till it sinks in. For machining, there are still many areas I'm not familiar with. Therefore, pics like what Bob posted helps. The computer sketch that Ed did provide more clarity.

Thanks to you folks that I've quite a good idea of what I need to do. Next is to see if I can execute them, especially the internal taper.

Regards,
Wong
Wong,

I know you won't believe me at the moment, but the internal taper is one of the easy bits to do.
And when you have done it - I will ask you the question - was it difficult?SmileSmileSmile

Dave - is that an 80 degree centre you are using in your sketch?

Hi Dave,

I'll report back when I'm on it. Will get the Set-Over Centre out of the way. 2 more parts: 1) the 2 adjustments screws and 2) machining the end of the 2MT arbor.

Wong
