I use a disc brake rotor, it in any doubt about the trueness, rotate the disc 90 degrees and recheck, my reading were identical.

Yes, but will my 0.000 1 indicator run true on it. :)

Side note, used a new rotor for a '93 Honda Accord sitting on the shop shelf. 0.000 5" indicator. both sides are parallel within 0.000 1". Not an issue for dialing in the head alignment.

Oddest part... I was getting 0.002" error tramming the head. I hadn't snugged the collet tight enough. Once snugged up, well within 0.000 5 (fine for me). Pulling my full body weight on the head gives 0.000 5" error.

One issue I ran into with the 10" rotor was overlapping the 9" table. Since nothing is usually on the outer edge, that was an slight build up of years of crud (normally under the vise). A nice 0.002" error until scrapped off.

That had me scratchin' my head for a few moments.

The head rotation 5/8" studs had interesting nuts. 31/32". Thankfully had a Crescent that managed to fit (tight space). Replacement flanged nuts were 1 1/6, fine to reach with a boxed end wrench.

So will the lathe tramming video be next

Well having been using the mill for a few days now I can truly say it works
Its not for the high flyers but for tho's of us who simply do not have a tool to do the job, but I can tel you I will not be investing my money in any other method.
