hi all as promised a beater look at this that i got from the boot sale its a matrix three flute tap comparator no book with the thing but labels stuck on the inside of the lid gives sum info right pics

Far be it for me to tell another man he has a nice tool, but....you do!
What is it needed for? I don't really get it. Without standards it's hard to determine the need for it, and with almost all taps coming with the H limits printed right on the shank I have never needed anything like that. Just the same, congrats on a good find!
