Looking smart Rob
will it need balancing in any way ? or just run ok without it ?
Cheers Mick.
I just read through this entire post, not sure how I missed this one? That's some really nice work, the welding looks amazing.

,
And tonight's efforts , machined up four stand-offs that are used to mount the fan case to the motor , these were zapped onto the motor mount plate.
All the parts ready for assembly .
First up the fan case mount is bolted to the motor .
The fan is then mounted .
Next up the fan case , with my design I can have the fan outlet LH ,RH horizontal or LH , RH vertical .
Finally the intake , this still needs some work .
So there we go , all done bar the outlet transition piece .
Cheers Rob
Beautiful work Rob! That should work out real well and look good at the same time.
Ed
might want to take the old finger and give it a couple spins just to see if it stops in the same spot every time.
DA
well just brill rob will have to cum over to see it run
Quality work Rob
, make sure its unplugged if you stick the old finger in to check ............. looks like it would be good at chopping fingers off
. Should be up and running soon
Cheers Mick.
