Here you go lads , slotting tool for the lathe, Myford lathe based but can be modded to fit any lathe ,just adjust centre hight to suite your lathe .

Hi Chuck , I made a pattern up for the job , you can actually buy a casting for about £10 .

A needed to make a new cast iron 110 tooth gear for my CUB lathe ,
Splines cut in a Stainless steel steering wheel boss I made for a lad in the village .
