That's the spirit! :)
The first videos have been posted for the Clamp Knurling Tool tutorial. The intro went fine, but the two videos on making the knurl holders took three tries and two full days to upload and the only way I could get an upload page was to sign in to my YouTube channel incognito. Slaphead Apparently YouTube is having some issues.

It also took me a while to figure out how to post them to my web page after taking the summer off. I seriously hope everything is working now because it wasn't earlier.  Bash

Tom
I just watched both videos Tom and they played fine and were very enjoyable and informative. However, video 2 loaded up differently to video 1 and was smaller. Perhaps that is something I did wrong though. I noticed you are back to manually working your draw bar. Why is that?
The played perfectly for me  thank you.
It seems that industry uses cut type knurling tools rather than the crush type most of us use. Has anyone made a cut type knurler?
Thanks guys.

Darren, you may have viewed part 2 before it was finished processing. They both seem to work fine now.

I've looked at cut type knurlers and see no reason why one couldn't be made. Perhaps another project in the works?

Tom
A cut knurling tool is on my 2015 project list. There were plans in "The Home Shop Machinist" magazine. That's the one I'll be making. Or maybe Tom's version.

That being said and after watching Tom's videos on his clamp knurling tool, I'm going to make that one first. Thanks for the plan and videos Tom. Thumbsup

Sounds good Ed. Look forward to seeing the project.
