My son is a big bloke but even so
I welded a couple of lengths of 3/4 angle around the bent remains

Aah the good old days when you could go to the scrap yard & buy bed iron & build yourself a trailer & yes some of it was rock hard but we built trailers ok,scrappies won't let you in now [unless your well in with 'em!!]
