"So is milling still milling or is it turning " Well I know of some one who thinks milling is just the same as a lathe standing on it's tailstock.

I think it's turn milling.

But not mill turnng.

Didn't I just see on this very forum, someone using their horizontal mill to do some lathe work 'cuze their lathe was already set up for something? Or did I see that elsewhere.

My big Traub Cnc "lathe" will turn and mill at the same time using its powered tooling in its turret :)
