I should get points off for this, but not wanting to disturb lathe setups I used a horiz mill, lathe-like.  A chuck on the spindle, a home-made arbor support being used as a steady rest, a rotary table and a vice to hold the toolbit. Just tossing out ideas for those with these mills.
