I had a barrel switch failure on the Jet mill. it will run in forward, but the switch will not switch to reverse. I'll end up replacing it with an Square D switch assembly. I'll need a bracket to hold the switch assembly, so that part of today's projects.

I see what they charge for a new barrel switch. Ouch. I'd be doing the same thing.
I took out the bad barrel switch, made a Square D switch I had (boiler stock) do the forward/reverse modes and installed a Square D, on-off switch, that will be replaced by a Red Mushroom switch (emergency stop switch), when it comes in next week.
