The casters on my box are solid and appear to have decent bearings.  I rolled it out of the garage/shop to take pictures outdoors in better light.  It rolled nicely on the rougher concrete in the driveway and travelled nicely over the slight jump to the garage floor.  I was impressed by the paint job as well.  I think this cart is a sleeper bargain.

Maybe I can talk SWMBO into financing another one!
That turned out very nice.

Mike.
Used the cherry picker to lift the chest onto the cart.

Ed, are you happy with the overalll sturdiness of the cart and casters?  I am very pleased with mine.  Yours looks like it arrived in great shape.

I should warn any others who buy this cart that it has a lot of fasteners to install even though the drawer body is preassembled.

Yes, it's quite sturdy. Mine came with some "no extra charge" bends in some of the sheet metal. I straightened out the ones I could. None of them affect the functionality of the tool though. I haven't put the surface plate in yet so there's no weight in it yet. Once I load it up I'll have a better idea of how it's going to roll. The surface plate alone is 85lbs.

P.S. I see they're on sale again for their "Lowest Price Ever" of $107.99. 17428
This was a good idea but I'm finding I have to clear off the top of the cart to use the surface plate so I'm thinking of relocating the surface plate to somewhere else. The tool cart is really very nice and sturdy so I'm still glad I got it.

I have a surface plate on a roll around tool box bottom, but the laptop sets on the 18" x 18" x 3" Grizzly sourced stone.
Your probably going to have to clean it off before use no matter where you put it. After all its a flat surface,
