I know what you're going through. When my Dad passed, I had to clean out his shop. Lots of once-valuable, now-worthless stuff. Like a big box of transistors which were the size of a quarter, had 3 leads, and a 5 digit part number. And I never knew my Dad to do electronics at home.
Same here, when dad passed I was living in Alberta, his house was in Ontario. Gave a lot of stuff away and hauled a lot to the dump, but kept what I could ship easily or store at friends.
Day 4, a ton of stuff under the workbench, uncovered this. Totally seized but we will see if we can bring it back to life.

They're a great vice Steve, not worth what they charge for them though. We had them on the back bumper of the line trucks, got one years ago when we were scrapping the truck.
Evaporust, it's a wrap. $18/gal on sale at tsc. Place 3mil poly in pan, place vice on poly, pour in evaporust, wrap as tightly as possible using whatelse, duct tape. A bit of packing to take up more air and check in the morning.

How did you get the strike pad on that Wilton to polish out like that?  Never have seen cast iron with a finish like that.  But now you will be afraid to use it!  I have five Wiltons like that in my shop, can I send them in for a refirb?  I got lucky.  All mine came from a local school for a $100 donation to the "Picnic Fund" when they quit teaching diesel mechanics.      Smiley-signs107
