This may sound like a dumb question but here goes. When a drawing calls out a chamfer dimension of say .25 x 45 degrees, is that .25" dimension the measurement of the face of the chamfer or some other dimension?
Ed
Hi Ed
The .25 it the depth of the chamfer , the face dimension would be hard to accurately measure ,especial on say the end of a round bar .
Rob
Thanks Rob, that makes sense.
