Stewart Handy worker, vise drill, anvil, grinder. $450

Is it just me, or do other people see something that is awkward to use and not that all thought out?
Not until a couple of weeks ago when one was on eBay in the UK !
The hand crank is on the wrong end of the tool.

How do you figure that the pined shafts look like they have a smaller OD?  Looks like a swiss knife version of a vise, and just as useless. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CyMZHajdquE

After watching that video and another one, the only conclusion I can come up with is that it is almost completely useless. I say almost 'cuze it is a great example of something you don't want!

I never said it was assembled incorrectly.

I've had one for several years not and I wouldn't be without it.  The nut for the screw is in the main casting and the two guide rods provide great stability.  Check that the remaining gears are included, as these are required if you want to vary the speed of the grinding wheel.  As these are mounted between the vise jaws, you can employ a variety of wheel thicknesses.  It is a very useful and versatile tool.  You will need to pay attention to how you mount it, as they layout is obviously unconventional.

EDIT: Sorry - the battery on my motherboard has died and the PC is showing the date as April 1.  Please disregard everything I have just said and I'll re-post this in a couple of months Big Grin
