Spent a few hours making this...………..

1/2" UNF, to suit .177/.22/.25 calibre.

Getting the hang of this lathe lark! Thumbsup oh, yeah, it's pretty bloody quiet as well!

Yep, hair curlers for the baffles(it's good enough for Weihrauch!), craft felt for the sound dampening, and it's made from aluminium bar and tube from ebay, grade  6063-T6/6082-T6 dunno which one though?

Polished to death with 'Autosol' metal polish. Smiley-eatdrink004

Thanks Roy. I wasn't sure if it was aluminium (aluminum) or a piece of hard chrome rod from a hydraulic cylinder. That is quite a polish job you did there. Smiley-eatdrink004
Ok, scrap the first lot of pics, here's what it looks like fitted now!

Anodised them myself as well...…..damn I'm learning stuff fast! Thumbsup I also don't believe my chuck of choice is now a 4 jaw independent.
