That's a great deal. The 1510 grade is a very hard, wear-resistant grade developed primarily for machining cast irons. It will work on most any material as long as it's smooth cutting, though the PM4 chipbreaker has a .004" (0.1mm) wide flat at the edge. That means it won't work well in stainless steel or non-ferrous that need an upsharp edge. The "2" radius of 1/32" is somewhat big for a small I.C. size screw-down, but in cast iron applications it's quite good.

According to the 2007 Valenite Turning catalog, the insert coating is medium-temp CVD process of TiCN over Al²O³ on a base of TiN. That means it likes to see some heat when working.
