There are two ways to accomplish this Darren. One is Hall Effect and the other a Mechanical type. I am going Mechanical.

The Timing is involved Darren, but not all the time. It still uses the Carb.

Breaker Arms are up first. They are all mill work and the most tedious part. That is the print for them and the two brass blanks.

Got some shop time today. The little lady was up and about most of the day. Thank you all for your concerns.
OK we left off at starting the guts of the distributor. Here are two pics. #1 it the rough blanks anf the rough holding fixture. Pic #2 is the matched blanks to the finished fixture. Should be done with these in the mill tomorrow.

This type of machining with small end mills can get to you in a hurry. I got 3 holes and the inside shape done today. That's it. That small brass pin in pic #2 is my stop.
