Pic #1 is the front 1/3. I did it last night. Pic #2 is the center in progress to fit to the front. Pic #3 is the mating of both parts. Done deal so far. Now to turn the center in the 4 jaw and proceed to fit the rear after it is made. I run out of time fast lately. LOL

Bill,
this is a fun build, lot's of interesting bits and pieces along with some clever machining.
Jerry.
EEEEYUP --- Turned it 180 in the 4 jaw and roughed the OD. Turned to finish bore depth. Now to turn the mounting flange for the rear piece. Turn it 180 again and turn finish OD.

Looking good Bill. I wonder if a swarf guard for the motor is in order?
No trouble there yet Darren. but you are right, better now than after the fact.

hi It's coming a long nice work
Pic #1 mounting flange cut. Pic#2 yea, it fits tight. Pic#3 all three parts. Pic #4 they fit tight. Pic #5, mounted to the Turbo Case, again nice and tight.
Today will be taken up by drilling and tapping all the holes that hold these four units together. Then the finish OD on the crankcase can be dealt with.
Thanks for all the encouragement. This is a slow moving project and it's about to get slower.

Bill,
Might be slow but it is sure damn good to see and follow.
Some good machining skills
