OK square one it is. I started with the rear gear housing. 5.250 dia 4.750 long 7075. Remember again this is being done on a 9 inch import. One key note, there is no casting for this part, it and most of the others are barstock. Only the heads and pistons will be from castings.

On the face plate boring the dtarter hole. Starter meaning electric starter. It will also sport a variable pitch prop when running. Don't let this pic fool you, there are two more bolts holding that mass from the other side.
