Morning Rick

did a little work on the Mini Mill last night but was having trouble seeing the high spots down in the vee on the Column Saddle Block that I have been working on.

No need for a sketch of the 3 Corner scrapper I have a couple of the store bought variety. I do need to make one that is only about a 1/4" wide for working down in the Vees of the mini mill just not any room in there, and GET a light that I can see with (really need the glasses I left in Tulsa)

The two half inch wide scrapers that I already made pretty much follow your design except it width and the taper on the end I did try to thin the carbide down but it was only so I could see over the end of the tool better, and so that I wouldn't have so much to hone.
I took the liberty of creating a PDF of Rickabilly's writeup on making scrapers. This is valuable information and worthy of saving I believe. I hope this is OK.

I'm sure it will be but it is only polite to ask Rick first.
Also I have asked Rick to put it in the "How To's/ Tutorials"

Sorry, I'll be sure to ask before I make another of these.
Howdy Nevada, nice to see you here they got a pretty good thing going here with lots of guys that are pretty sharp with a file and a chisel.
Hi there... I'm glad someone at the WeaponsGuild linked to this site. I'm impressed.

Don't worry about it. I'm sure Rick will be fine with it. If not, we can always fix it. Thanks for taking the time to make the PDF file.

Hey Nevada you have one of those camera with a bright and shiny setting if so I may need to borrow it. I followed Ed over here from the old yahoo site that we used to hang out on. you got any questions about machining just ask them I'm sure there wil be someone here who can give you a good answer. I know they sure did when I asked about cutting gears.

Hello All,
As y'all already guessed I was OK with the whole PDF copying thing, I post information to help everyone that might need it, I think as long as the author is referenced all is OK, it's another thing altogether to put your own name to someone else's work Rant This sort of practice is universally condemned but is still common,

Interestingly as soon as text is posted onto most forums the Copy write laws are null and void depending heavily on the T&C when signing up,

Best Regards
Rick

Not to worry Rick, that sort of behavior will not be tolerated here and is probably the only way someone could get banned from this forum, other than being a spammer.
