Why do coiled bandsaw blades suddenly come to mind? 17428

Lol.

That reminds me of a prank we played on a college professor. We got wind that he was planning on doing a lecture on band saw safety so we went into the lab before class and uncoiled all of the band saw blades, stuffed them back into the storage cabinet and latched the doors. Went it came time for the lecture he had us gather round the band saw and when he opened the cabinet, all the blades came flying out and spread across the floor. Totally unfazed, he picked up the blade he was looking for and continued on with the lecture as though nothing had happened, making the entire prank somewhat anticlimactic. I think he was looking for someone to break a smile, but surprisingly everyone manage to remain deadpan.

thats just 60 or 70 so inches try it with a pound of .033music wire. I did once, never again, also never let the end go back down inside the middle of the coil you'll never find it again, (don't ask how I know)
I had the end of a 10lb. spool of mig wire get away from me once as I was trying to load it into my welder. That sucker unwound like a broken clock spring! Slaphead

And it's just plain wire. Rant
