Thanks for the well wishes guys. I haven't put needle to skin for quite some years now, so these were 'store bought' ones. I'll take them out myself though - no point taking up health care time that could be better used on someone else.
Like Willie said, the key is to ensure that your body is out of line and this is something I am very conscious of. Unfortunately, I was up close against a wall and had limited options.
DaveH, Isn't 3 tractors the required minimum? Actually the first Allis-Chalmers I got sorta infected me with the bug.
After I discovered the "Unofficial Allis-Chalmers Forum"
http://www.allischalmers.com/forum/forum...-equipment The infection consumed me.
Here's a pic of my little model "B" for which I designed and built a loader.

Good move Willie, we await the final report.
Willie,
Looking good - nice welding

Hello Dave,
Speaking of welding....
Are we going to see an attempt?
I am committed to helping out with advice,
Sorry Dave, I'm not picking, trying to encourage actually.
Regards
Rick

Yes you are, you are picking on me again
I did weld something the other day - my normal pathetic weld
I was going to show it ............
you will all laugh
DaveH
It's Ok Dave,
Even if we do laugh you won't hear us, it's the beauty of the web,
The sooner you do it the sooner it's over with.

Saw that a while ago also. There were no A-C tractors or machine tools so I passed on it.
yea the stuff was priced a little to high for me, and I'm not really into Stuz's,
