Hi Lads
I made a start on stripping down the CUB lathe
motor and switch gear salvaged .
I will pull the lead screws ,TTA and a few other parts from it tomorrow night .

Nope I had to knock it up three notches to my flip the bird finger

Got them installed. Cut the floor back about 26 inches at the top and had to sink the one stringer into the lath and plaster wall to get the width I wanted.

Thanks, we'll soon be returning to the original metal working broadcast.
The old lathe is getting smaller
Ready for cutting up with the plasma cutter at the weekend

A few things Andrew ,but mainly I need the room for a larger lathe and I dont have the time to mess with it ,plus I want the twin speed motor out of it for my Aceria mill .
