Hey Tom,

as it's 8 degrees where you are and you can't ride your bike how about a video?

Come on fella's if we bug him enough i'm sure we can coax him out of video retirement. I'll start the ball rolling with the following suggestion.

How to make a milling machine vice adjustable work stop?

You've obviously never seen the gear making video by Jose something. All throughout he's using the wrong value for PI and counting the wrong number of turns on the rotary table.

Well, this was a timely thread. I spent all day yesterday in the shop cleaning and organizing and it's almost to the point where it's presentable.

I thought I would have a lot more time after switching to a four day work week, but so far all of my Fridays have been spent on non-shop related stuff, like floor refinishing, kitchen remodeling at my son's, helping out my parents and of course those pesky holidays. This last weekend was the most fun of all when the submersible pump in my well went south. Since the very last thing I wanted to do was dig it up in the middle of winter, I bought an above ground deep well pump and was able to draw enough water through the old pump to get us by until spring.  Oh yeah, and the garage door opener tapped out last week, but that may just have to wait a while. There is no room for cars in it anyway. Big Grin

Don't worry Ed, once I do get back to making videos, the first one on my list is to do the final installment in the clamp knurling tool series.

Hey Tom, I'd love to see more videos from you but I also know the effort that goes into making them, and mine are nowhere near as good as yours.

Hoping to see the knurler finale.
