I've given you a clue Popcorn - it is not on Ken's or Darren's rack. Therefore is must be something to do with the part that I added to the back.
Something to do with how the rack holds the metal.

Plus I said I can change it quite easily. One operation say four times.
Some times errors like this are politely called "built in redundancy"

The very top back does not have the horizontal dividers sticking back to support the stock from falling out the side?

Considering you don't have a rack that is pretty damn good - it's wrong but still Rotfl you are on the right track.
The initial design for me was that it should be capable of supporting 3 meter lengths but only on one side. The other side will only support  lengths up to 1.8 meters, so I don't need the top support on the back.

I even did this with a 1.8 meter long piece of metal in the rack and I still didn't see it.
