Your collets are fine mine are the same. I just think it is difficult to cut all the way through with a very thin slot. Smile

My impression is that the wider slot would mean less contact/support for the small diameter piece yet the wide portion is still necessary to permit the flex without having to tighten the smaller size collets more than the larger ones.

I like to buy north American made stuff, but man this offshore stuff is really getting quite good.

And the price is much easier on us trying to stock up on tooling.

The fit and finish is to me as good as N. American, and i would NEVER have been able to afford most of what i have bought as a senior on a fixed income, if the only available tooling was brand name N. American stuff. For us hobby guys this has been a bonus.
