For Mayhem - Bill Gruby - 11-25-2012

As promised Darren here are the three Biddle Tachs I scored this week-end. All three will measure RPM or SFM. Left is 0-10K middle is 0-5K and right is 0-50K.

I have a couple of those tucked away somewhere. I believe they were made by Jagers.

Thanks for the pics Bill. I've not seen them like that before. Only the old steel graduated wheel type. Nice score.

RE: For Mayhem - Brian - 11-26-2012

I think i recognize the center one we used them in Simms engine lab on the dyno test. ours were made, or marketed, by Hasler, but the same even down to the case shape. One button to reset and the other to start the number count.when it stops you have the RPM spot on. Happy Days all noise-- heat--. asbestos lagging--carbon tetrachloride-- ETC,

Regards Brian. .

RE: For Mayhem - Bill Gruby - 11-26-2012

You are correct, the center one is a Hasler Bern. serial # 132022. The other two are Biddles.

Brian -- I have often wondered how many stories like yours could be heard from the old tools I have collected over time.
