casting straight out of the moulding box [hmm complete with a bit of ''flash''] still,nothing that an angle grinder won't fix

Its 6"x 41/4" letters 2 1'4" high the ellipse drawn out using the 3 pins & string method, all cut out on the hegner scroll saw finished casting weighs 1lb 12 1/2 oz in brass.

John, when I make a baseplate like this I keep it & cut out new numbers to whatever font they like then chisel the old numbers off & glue new ones on after a little glasspapering up, this plate's been used 1/2 a dozen times for different numbers both in brass & alloy.
