Dave,

Yup, it sits there waiting to be put back together. Things keep getting in the way but they're mostly family things so I don't mind so much. I have nothing other than a graduation party to go to this weekend so I just may finally getr' done. Happyyes

Good to hear that Ed - I had forgotten all about this rebuild until Dave posted today. We expect pics (lots of pics)!!!

The top is back on and the gear train seems to all turn as it should, by hand anyway.
Time to go to my great nephew's graduation party. I may have some time when I get back this evening to get the sight glass, vent tube and drain plug installed so I can top it off with oil to see if any leaks out overnight.

Progress came to a screeching halt today when I tried installing the motor shaft seal and found out I had gotten the wrong size. I found one on ebay and the seller is in Minnesota so I should have it in a few days.

Don't sweat the small stuff Ed. It's a part of doing business. Big Grin

It's looking like a bulletproof rebuild so far. [Image: thimb.jpg]

Ed,

It looks to me that your doing a first rate job on your rebuild, Smiley-signs107
being careful as your are means you won't have any do overs. Thumbsup

I find your thread enjoyable as well as educational. 6820

I got the seal today so I should be able to get the mill buttoned up so I can fill it with oil to see if it leaks overnight. The end is finally in sight, assuming no leaks. Chin

The seal is in, the vent pipe is installed and the motor mounted, but not wired up yet. It's starting to look like a mill again. Smiley-dancenana
