I saw a thread this morning inquiring about an easy way to create a hole with a flat bottom, so I thought a demo on how to grind a flat bottom drill would make a good video. It's a basic skill, but a useful one to master.

Great video Tom. There have been numerous times I've needed a flat bottom hole but didn't know how to modify a drill bit to do the job.

Both of those sets are useful tools to have on hand and can be had for next to nothing by using old drills to make them.
