Colchester Bantam Lathe - PLUTO - 02-19-2014

hi guys
i am looking to buy a COLCHESTER BANTAM LATHE it is being sold with standard imperial thread cutting gears would anyone know what transision gears i would need to cut metric threads

And secondly, the only transition gear I know of would be a 127 tooth gear but I don't know what metric pitches the transitioned TPI settings would produce. Someday I may have to do the math but so far any metric threading has been done on my 16x60 which has both metric and inch pitches on its threading charts.

I think it would be the MK1 800 RPM with 30" centers.
I am just looking at it as the lathe I have is 100 years old and has no metric it's a Lang of Jonstone Glasgow.

You need the 100 / 127 gear to convert ether way
