hi all got so mutch gowning on don't no whee to start any way i got this on Sunday from the boot sale for £3 i have wonted a petrol one to compeer it with paraffin any way striped it dawn and gave it a scrub up i don't buff them up as their is no point as i use them one thin you chaps may be able to help me with is in the feed tube their is a filter that is made up of ?? its not string as its not twisted its more like un spun wool you will see it in the pics any one no Wat this stuff is any way pics

Nice job Bob,
Not sure what was used, but any good wick material should do.
I've never used a petrol blowlamp always seemed a bit on the risky side to me.
