1837 US Large Cent Coin Ring - DLANDINO - 09-12-2014

Just finished this ring for a client. 177 year old US coin ring made from a copper large cent. All hand crafted and finished. [img][Image: 00083F23-6EC2-4D7C-8908-02731DEA03A2_zpskbtpjcow.jpg][/img]

Those pictures are very grainy so it's hard to get an appreciation for the quality but it looks nice anyway. Thumbsup

Nice work, just wondering how long does it take you to produce a ring like that? (roughly)

Thanks! Yeah, iPhone pics stink for macro shots. I'll try and grab some better pics with our camera. For copper rings it takes a night to form and then 3-5 days to finish and seal. For silver coins about 2-4 days or so.

That's really 177 years PLUS 3 to 5 days.

Nice work but speaking for myself, if I had an 1837 coin it would still be an 1837 coin when I die.
