Round HSS inserts - chucketn - 10-25-2014

I just ordered an indexable lathe tool for round inserts. I did not order inserts because I felt the price was too high.
I will use this tool in a fly cutter. Anyone have a good source for round HSS insertsĀ  that will not break the bank?

Tried there, no luck.

I may have to pay CTC's price.

If I read the spec correctly, the inserts are 10mm with 4mm hole for the screw.

Are they HSS, and do you want to sell them?

carbide, no don't have but a few that work on a holder that I made for them.

Get Carbide ones for taking a finish cut with a fly cutter 3 or 4 should last forever.

The EBay offering looks like a good deal. However, if you interested in making your own inserts here's a source for HSS:
