Hi Ed
Movie maker was the first editor I used and I agree it is easy. But because I am using a adventure type camera similar to a Go Pro I have to be able to crop and zoom and movie maker has not that facility.
May be if I ever stop having to get material and tools to build things a better camera may be in order but that seems a long way off.

Happy Xmas Brian

At last all ten cam followers finished. the next nail bighting bit will be the valve cages but the bronze is not due untill late January
so I have time to ponder the problem of shrink fitting the parts then final machining.
has anyone used plumbers freezing spray and how effective is it. In my young day's we had dry ice and tricoetheline now that got things really cold . Yikes

Nice work Brian. It's coming along nicely. Thumbsup

It's how far you can get from ambient that matters and unless you have access to liquid nitrogen, it's almost always more effective to heat one part than cool the other. Exceptions might be if one part might be damaged by heat or if the one to be cooled has a higher coefficient of linear thermal expansion.

Hi Tom I was thinking of doing both. heating the head on a electric boiling ring that I have used in the past for fitting bearings. and cooling the valve cage using plumbers spray.

After digging out the mill from under all the chips the next job is to mill the flat to take the inlet flange.

Exhaust flange mounts done, and five views of the main work area's.
So far the 357 gram blank has been reduced to 208 gram, with more to go.
