Incredible job as always Brian. Smiley-eatdrink004

I found this after watching your last video. Different design but clearly shows the complexity of a radial engine. I love how he uses the internals of a Briggs & Stratton engine for comparison.

With the crank tail shaft made I can now fit the Master rod for a trial.  all looks good.

Hi Lads .Just a line to let you know that the material for the   front end case -- crank and oil pump has arrived and work is under way.

Hi All
The forward bulkhead is nearly done it holds the inner crankshaft bearing and the annular inlet manifold.

This now leaves only the nose piece that holds the outer crank bearing to do, then the main casing is done, apart from fixing holes and O ring
grooves ETC.

How large of a plane will you build to house this engine?

Hi Dr Stan
If it ever gets to the stage of flying it. I want a very stable low speed aircraft with the capability of carrying a heavy load.. So my thoughts
are of a scale Spirit of St Louis.  With a span of 11 Ft    It's slab sided and parallel cord so it should be an easy build in foam sheet.
But all this is a long way ahead first lets just see if it runs???
