ok, what is it? - Vinny - 06-30-2015

When we got our bridgeport at work this think came with it and they said it was part of it. So far noone has come up with what it is or where it goes. It looks like a flywheel 'cuze the outside ring is really heavy. But I see no place where a flywheel would go. Any ideas?

It's a spacer to raise the head. Also referred to as a riser block.

The head is an interesting thing to balance when you go to put the riser in. Hence mine has been in there for months.
