home made parting off tool - krv3000 - 10-10-2015

hi bin meaning to do this for sum time I got sum parting off blades sum time back there not the blade type they are triangular you will se in the pic so I hunted sum 5mm plate and cut a peace out to make the mane part of the tool body when finish the body will be 78mm long by 11.5 hi by 5mm thick put the blank in me 4 jaw chuck and mad it sqher then polish it up on me glass plat its a top of a set of scales the glass is tufend a peace of wet and dry stuck on to it with spray on glue once all nice marked out where the blade will go right pics

once drilled I then made a peg to go in the centre of the blade the hole being 5.5mm then drilled for m3 thread then filed the notch out of the front of the blank for the blade to sit flush with the face of the blank once dun I then silver soldered the centre pin in place then cleaned it all

up sos no pics of the next bit I made the screw head bigger so the out side diameter is gnaw 7.5mm this was silver soldered on to the head of the screw so it will levee a step on the inside then I just rounded the top off  all dun right pics
