new machinist forum - Dr Stan - 04-27-2016

A new forum Machinist Talk has been launched.  It is not intended to replace any other forum, but to add to & supplement the knowledge base.  It can be found at http://forum.machinisttalk.com/

I wish it luck, but it's looking a bit bleak at the moment with only one post ....

..... but everyone has to start somewhere !

Well give it some time as it just began. BTW, not limited to professionals.

Not sure that I can stand the pace on that new forum ....

... 24 hours elapsed and STILL only one post.

Go on Tom, post a nice wood theme :)

RE: new machinist forum - chucketn - 04-28-2016

when opening this thread, only 2 posts appeared until I replied, then the rest were visible. weird, never seen that before.

Interesting - the admin has 12 posts and a bucket load of reputation points. I only saw one post but clicking on all activity (top right) suggested there is more.

Perhaps he is wary of people taking his posts and placing them verbatim on their own site...
