Sounds pretty cut and dried to me. Chin

Since you are a moderator over there Stan, what is the owner's/admin's stance on posting about <shudder> import machines?

The only thing forbidden at this point is political and/or religion oriented posts, just like here. I made that recommendation based on the rules in this forum and the administrator liked it and then made me a moderator. Keep in mind I'm a moderator and not the owner or administrator of the forum. To date there is no ban on imported or hobby machines unlike a certain unfriendly forum that will go unnamed, but should be very apparent.

The primary goal is to simply further the knowledge base of the trade.

Ha. Unfriendly.

I used to participate a lot on the unnamed forum, but found that there were tons of politics thread, but heaven forfend, you should have a genuine machining question involving a Chinese machine, even as a legitimate business owner, your thread got locked.

Eff that poo.

Or if you did not agree with the political nonsense you'd be banned.

BTW, membership is growing, slowly, but still growing.

Just tried to access the forum (http://forum.machinisttalk.com) but found it is suspended.  Oh well, guess it was worth a shot.
