Was using my 20 ton mechanical press to cut a keyway in some parts when it became way too apparent the ram was no longer descending.
Took it apart and found this:[attachment=15036]
I had considered converting it to hydraulic when I bought the press, but decided to put it off until it became necessary. So this is the result:
