TIG welding blades - Dr Stan - 05-14-2023

I have purchased a FEMI portable bandsaw which is a very nice machine, but it takes a bit of an oddball size blade.  1335 X 13 X 0.65 mm. I think I've found a supplier in Australia, but it looks like I should start making my own blades again.

I know silver soldering is the prefered method, but was wondering if anyone has had success TIG welding bandsaw blades? If so, any tips?

I currently do not have an Oxy/fuel rig and am wondering if a 300 watt soldering pencil, that I have, would produce enough heat for silver soldering. Thoughts anyone?

Thanks in advance
