Vaey nice Andrew. The finish is very smooth, did you fill any large dings? if so what did you use?

Bill, i did not find many large dings anywhere on the machine.
The main pillar was a bit of a rough casting but the paint smoothed it out quite nicely.
Everything was painted by hand with various sized brushes.
Took a long time but the results are pretty good!
In other things that i have repaired with dings i used Bondo and it worked really well. Just a lot of sanding...

Nice Job Andrew, and a nice mill.
I find it is a great feeling of accomplishment to finish a machine , stand back and see a great looking project finished.
All the time spent grinding, scrapeing, buffing etc is worth it.

If you could I'd like to get the measurements of your mills footprint
to see if I could fit one in a space I have . Mainly I need width of cabinet and
depth from back of motor to front of cabinet .
