Any particular reason you went with a nano?

I already had it. I had bought a pack of three of them back in November of 2019 and had one left over.

I worked on getting my DRO working, or should I say not working. It wouldn't shut off. I assumed the switch was switching a relay to connect the 120VAC into the DRO and the relay went bad. Not so, the switch directly switches the 120V. The switch tested good with a continuity test so was a bit puzzling. The switch has a connector plugged into it instead of soldering the wires directly to the terminals. It appeared to also be good. I ended up buying a new switch from Digi-Key and got rid of the connector and soldered the wires directly to the switch terminals. I also cleaned up some of the other wiring. Up and running now.

Working on a project for lasering things like pens or business cards or anything else that would be the same thing over and over.  The laser will engrave something, this thing will turn a platter so the next one is lined up, the laser will engrave it, etc.   I think I already posted a pic of the main part.   Today I made the hub that the platter will sit on.  I plan on having multiple platters made from acrylic, was going to be aluminum but with Xometry going away the inexpensive aluminum is gone too.  I have the acrylic, unfortunately my CO2 laser is too small to do it so I'll prolly have to do the platters on the mill and rotary table (I am pondering YAL - Yet Another Laser, but haven't ordered yet).

All that said, here's the hub.  Still need to drill and tap for the set screw and the 3 studs that will hold the platter.   Excuse the crappy pic! It also has some nics in it from when I parted if off and forgot there's an 8mm hole in the middle and it flew off the back of the lathe. The platter will cover that up. Big Grin

I made some racks to store my parts cases. Previously I had them stacked on each other and had to play musical cases when I wanted one that wasn't on the top.
