Now that is impressive Kenne! Just make sure you still have sensation and warmth at the end of that toe. Provided sensation and circulation are intact there isn't much to do besides letting it heal. However, if it becomes cool/cold or is numb than you need to present to hospital.

Sorry to see that Kenne. As bad as it is for you, I can almost guarantee that I would have lost that toe if it were me. So I suppose that's more good news for you. Always look for the silver lining.
Diabetes is a real b****.

If it does then I get a metal joint , that will make me even more popular at airports and courthouses (metal detectors everywhere) . I wonder who does the machine work on such joints ?

My wife has an MRI coming up and they asked her what metal was in her new hip and knee . When she inquired at her orthopedic office she was told that for the past 9 years the material they used wouldn't cause any MRI probs. I guess we'll have to take a flight somewhere to see if it shows up at the security check. I'd prefer that to a court appearance. Sorry about the diabetes DaveH & Ken, sorta like going to the platte with a 2 strike count against you. Good luck.

I'm sorry DaveH, I meant Highpower. No wait! I'm glad you don't have Diabetes.
But I'm sorry Highpower does. I don't mean to make light of any of this, but if anybody enjoys my embarrassment, enjoy!
