Finished up the flap lever tonight. Just have to cut a couple gears to drive the potentiometer.

Welcome back Shawn.
A tailwheel lock? What type of plane is your simulator simulating? Tom

It's going to be a generic cockpit that will allow you to fly almost and small aircraft. Twin engine fixed wing to small helicopter. A lot of people chose a specific aircraft and model the cockpit as close to that as they can. I don't fly that much and when I do it is often 3-4 aircraft in a single session. Plus this way I get to build more parts? Fie season is really ramping up so I don't expect the get much more done til the fall.
Thanks for the comments Shawn.

Shawn, I really should be my son, he works for CAE and is a flight simulator installation technician. He's of to Malasia for 7 weeks for an install.

I would be interested in hearing what your son has to say. CAE make the best simulators in the planet as far as I can tell. The metal parts I'm building sure feel better than the typically plastic controls you can buy off the shelf.

I'll let him know , but as soon as this vacation ends he's off to Malaysia for a 7 week install. Try to remind me in mid Sept..

I finally got the pedals welded up for the fixed wing side of the sim. My welding really needs work.
